Lead Designer and Project Manager UK & EMEA
I am the Lead Designer and Project Manager at Visual Displays. Day-to-day, I’m involved with various aspects of the business, overseeing projects through the sales, design, installation and commissioning process.
I love the variety of my role – on any given day I could be visiting a client for a detailed site survey, designing a projection system, or project managing an installation. I like to take a complex brief and find creative solutions. Being able to see the job through from initial brief to installation and knowing we have happy customers is the best part of my role.
After graduating from the University of Wolverhampton with an honours degree in interior design, with a strong focus on 2D and 3D CAD design, I began my career in the AV industry as a junior designer. I spent the next 10 years learning about the industry and enhancing my skills working in 3D CAD. In 2014 I achieved my CTS certification and I am currently working towards a CTS-D.
Outside of work I spend time with my family and my energetic Dachshund, Kevin Sausage (not to be mistaken for Kevin Bacon).
