The hybrid workspace must be centred on the camera’s needs. Spending money on a good camera doesn’t guarantee you’ll send noise-free, high contrast, good quality video signal to your remote participants.
Each camera model has a unique automatic exposure algorithm - do you know how to get the best out of each?
Do you understand how to optimise the workspace to make the camera really ‘sing’?
Suggestion. Take a screenshot of your workspace when you’re a remote participant - with the room empty, partly and completely occupied. Ask yourself how connected you feel to the workspace - what could make it better? Work through a checklist to see if you can make a 10% performance improvement for each identifiable element. Lighting? Background/walls? Camera position? Time of day? What’s your complete list?
