Immersive displays come in all shapes and sizes.
This one is curved in both planes - and onto the floor. This is how we did it.
Using three projectors (Epson EB-PU1006B with wide-angle lenses, installed by Visavvi) and working with my longtime content and programming partner Darka Juras and with the support of Virginia Cheng of GeoBox, this is one of several multi-projector blended systems we installed at The Deep in Hull, which is the best marine centre I’ve ever been to in the UK.
Having designed and installed immersive systems from multi-million fast jet trainers to ultra-low cost mini systems, we like to say we can project from anywhere onto anything! Using advanced parametric 3D CAD tools, advanced configuration calculators - and decades of hard-won experience - we work on exciting projects globally.
This division is currently working on curved screens for Microsoft Teams Rooms, hybrid meeting/teaching spaces. Together with new experiential products, look out for some announcements this Autumn.
