Become immersed…
It looks like 2024 will be the year of immersive displays for Microsoft Teams Rooms - and for all those taking displays to a higher level.
But what do we mean by ‘immersive’ or by being 'immersed' in a viewing experience?
Thinking in 2D, this can refer to the proportion of your field of view that is filled by the display - and remember you have around 180 degrees of that! Stick a finger in front of your eyes then take it round to the side until you can no longer see it. See what I mean?
Thinking in 3D, this can be a curved screen, a cave, a dome (sphere) or toroidal (think of a ring doughnut!).
