Epson unveils new compact, high-brightness projectors

Epson has expanded its laser projector line-up with a new range of compact, high brightness 3LCD laser projectors, designed to meet display needs in education, corporates, museums and visitor attractions.

All of the new projectors have been designed to deliver large-scale, vivid displays to help modernise education and corporate environments, while meeting the growing demand for collaborative working solutions and enhanced connectivity. With the new range, Epson is delivering lower-cost laser display solutions into new brightness categories, making lamp replacements and clunky, inflexible flat panels problems of the past.

The new EB-L700 series offers a brightness range from 5,200 – 7,000 lumens white and Colour Light Output (CLO) and includes advanced installation and connectivity. It also comes with a new short-throw model.

“Epson’s laser projector line-up has expanded dramatically in recent years, and now ranges from 2,000 to 30,000 lumens,” commented Neil Colquhoun, vice president of professional displays at Epson Europe. “As the market leader in 3LCD technology, Epson continues to improve its high brightness laser projectors with even smaller and more compact display solutions. This is what our customers have demanded and the new EB-L700 series delivers even more effective, practical and creative display applications in retail, corporate, hospitality and entertainment.”

Laser Solutions for Education and Corporate Environments
Designed for enhanced engagement, collaboration and laser-focused learning, the EB-L520U, EB-L530U, EB-L630U, EB-L720U and EB-L730U offer up to 7,000 lumens of equal colour and white brightness for powerful performance, flexible placement and exceptional image quality for use in schools and company meeting rooms. Unlike other classroom display technology, Epson’s laser solutions deliver images up to 500-inches in a variety of aspect ratios, including ultra-wide 16:6 format and supporting up to four inputs to be displayed simultaneously to maximise the display area in hybrid education and meeting room settings.

The new EB-L700 series comes equipped with futureproofed connectivity options including 4K signal support, enterprise level 5GHz wireless, upgraded Miracast and support for Epson’s new wireless presentation system. Installation is also made easy with wide zoom and lens shift, HDBaseT and 360-degree placement flexibility.

Powered by a virtually maintenance-free, 20,000-hour laser light source with no lamps to replace, the EB-L700 series has been designed for reliable operation with a long lifecycle and reduced power consumption requirements.

Laser Displays for Digital Signage, Entertainment and Visitor Attractions
Introducing new short throw models, with 0.8:1 throw ratio and available in black and white options, the EB-L630SU and EB-L635SU offer further versatility to the range. Combining advanced installation features with bright, detailed imagery, the standard-throw EB-L730U and EB-L735U and short-throw EB-L630SU and EB-L635SU offer a compact, minimalist, discreet design that fits seamlessly in virtually any environment and deliver sharp, true-to-life images for expanded applications, such as corporate experience centres, retail visual merchandising, museum exhibits and entertainment venues.

The EB-L700 series sports professional features for creating advanced displays with on-board edge blending functionality, which is supported by Epson Projector Professional Tool compatibility, providing advanced geometry correction. The range also supports Epson software tools for wireless content management and remote monitoring and control.
