Do twin screens work for hybrid workspaces in general or Microsoft Front Row in particular?

Microsoft's move into the design and implementation of enhanced hybrid meeting and teaching spaces has seen them showing large projected 21:9 single displays as their promoted solution.

Do twin screens work for hybrid workspaces in general or Microsoft Front Row in particular?

The Front Row layout features a centred main content window, whose sizing is balanced against the row of remote participant windows below.

The driver for displays is always height: to get remote participants as large as possible; to have the content window large enough for in-person viewers at the back of the room to be able to fully engage.

The overall width of twin screen displays runs the risk of those at the front of the table blocking sightlines for those at the back. See the blue arrows in the diagram below.

Where is the place for twin displays? I suspect there's a lot of heritage affection for telepresence! I can't see why Front Row and 21:9 can't tick all the boxes - and make our systems as futureproof as is possible. Am I missing something??!!
