New ProjecTABLE delivers the ultimate Front Row experience
The new ProjecTABLE curved table for Microsoft Teams Rooms Signature rooms, for which patents have been applied, is based on AVIXA standards-based guidance by Greg Jeffreys Consulting.
A new curved table that will support the use of UST projection with Microsoft Teams Rooms Front Row has been developed by Ashton Bentley.
Working with Greg Jeffreys Consulting, the company has applied for patents for the new ProjecTABLE meeting room furniture which supports the use of AVIXA standards, while concealing the projector and cabling within the table itself.
Writing on LinkedIn, Jeffreys said: “The projector is housed within the table structure, which prevents accidental damage or users bumping into it – and complies with US DDA regulations.”
Where projection has previously been demonstrated in publicity material for Microsoft Teams Rooms Signature rooms, it has typically been through the use of a UST projector sitting on its own stand, between curved table and screen.
The ProjecTABLE product supports a display bundle which produces an image size and viewing angles, both horizontal and vertical, which are in compliance with AVIXA’s DISCAS standard for all six seats at the table. AVIXA’s ISCR image quality standard was also used to specify the 150″ (3.5m x 1.5m) 21:9 display bundle which was shown on the Epson stand at ISE 2023. The bundle comprises an Epson EB-PU 3LCD laser projector and a DNP Supernova Infinity ambient light rejecting (ALR) screen.
