What’s the minimum size needed for Microsoft Teams Room’s Front Row displays?

It’s much larger than you think!

What’s the minimum size needed for Microsoft Teams Room’s Front Row displays?

AVIXA’s DISCAS standard setting image size has to be used here on the main content window - and not the overall height of the display. In Front Row this main content window might only be 60% the height of the image.

This means the image has to be substantially larger than flat panels can provide, which is why Microsoft is using projection for their new Signature Meeting Room.

But it has to be Projection Done Properly - projection that gives perfect black levels, colour rendering and resolution. This is provided by the latest generation of laser 3LCD projectors coupled with optical ALR (ambient light rejecting) screen technologies.

Visual Displays has worked with Epson to produce a range of standards-curated projector and screen bundles for every room size in both 16:9 and 21:9. They are available globally right now.

The Visual Displays team has been with Epson this week at the AED dealer event in Eindhoven, proudly showing an example. Seeing is believing!
