What does ‘immersive’ mean in Microsoft Teams Rooms? What does ‘immersive’ mean in all display types?
The basic principle is to fill the viewers’ Field of View (FOV). This means using AVIXA’s DISCAS standard to get the screen size right.
The move to radically larger image sizes was a key driver for Microsoft’s power move into projection for MTRs. But this has to be Projection Done Properly. Under normal room lighting this only works using advanced ALR (ambient light rejecting) projection materials. And Visual Displays is the global leader in the specification and supply of these screens.
The next step is curved screens.
