Steering Standards in the right direction!
Visual Displays' director, Greg Jeffreys, is Chair of the 2020 AVIXA Standards Steering Committee.
AVIXA is the leading resource for AV performance standards. Their standards are balanced and open, so everyone in the AV industry can benefit from incorporating them into their projects. These standards support technology design and procedures that focus on reliability, competency and success. This collection will help you access new markets, reduce cost, decrease project complexity, be more productive, and reduce risk.
The Standards Steering Committee, currently chaired by Greg Jeffreys, Visual Displays Ltd, is advisory to the Board of Directors on issues pertaining to audiovisual industry standards. The committee provides the Board with recommendations for standards development as it relates to AVIXA’s strategic plan. As AVIXA’s official American National Standards Institute (ANSI) consensus body, the Standards Steering Committee approves completed standards before they are sent for ANSI approval and subsequent publication.
