Aspect Ratio for MTRs
What is the correct display aspect ratio to use for Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTRs), meeting rooms and teaching spaces. 16:9 or 16:10 or 21:9 or…?
This is a mission-critical decision when you design your spaces. And I’m currently seeing confusion here, especially regarding aspect ratios for Microsoft Teams Rooms, Front Row - and the new Signature Meeting Rooms.
Front Row is now the front runner for the future of spaces which focus on multiple location hybrid meetings. Front Row is a screen design, a screen layout. To unlock its potential, the 21:9 aspect ratio is used - but what is the backstory here?
Remember that AVIXA’s DISCAS standard can be used to decide image size for all aspect ratios. We are currently updating DISCAS to reflect the move to multiple content windows on a single screen - so look out for this.
